"Bokartas" History

Since 1997.
Exhibitions.
Seven "Artist‘s Book Triennials Vilnius" took place where 828 artists from 64 countries were selected. Triennials were shown in Lithuania, Austria, France, Germany, Italy, South Korea, Sweden and Denmark. Four Collage Exhibitions were organised in Vilnius.
Lectures.
Prof. Kestutis Vasiliunas lectured in Lithuania, Germany, Poland, South Korea, Italy.
Workshops.
"Bokartas" organized the International Artist's Book Workshops in Vilnius, Urbino, Roma and Venezia.
Symposiums.
We participated in Printmaking Symposium in Bentlage, Germany.
Awards.
The book “Noah’s Ark”, published by "Bokartas", won the main prize – “Algirdas Steponavicius Award” in the Exhibition “Art of Book”and won a Diploma as one of the most beautiful book for children in the “Vilnius Book Fair 2012″. The Catalogue of the Collage Exhibition CE6 got the Prize – "The Most Beautiful Book in Lithuania in 2006".
